By filtering with Aqualitetm most chemicals become obsolete, such as;
Floculant which attaches to bacteria and small particles smaller than 20 micro (bacteria are 1-5 micron) and then drops to the bottom of the poll. What’s left is removed with the vacuum cleaner.
PH - Muriatic acid, Sodium disulfate or PH + Sodium Carbonate is used to keep the Ph between the 7.0 and 7.6. Aqualitetm makes sure that the pH (acid value) remains at a constant and safe value.
One Aqualitetm has taken effect and the clarity of the pool is optimal, any algae that may appear can be very easily identified.
A test (in a private pool in Curaçao) has shown that, by letting the algae be, the bottom of the pool was still visible at some spots in the pool, however, with sand, the bottom disappears out of sight within 36 hours. The advantage is that less algae killer is required to get the pool back in shape quickly.
With proper maintenance and wise use of chlorine and smart filtering, chlorine and algae killer should be sufficient ( in particular for private pools ) for pool maintenance.
