At this bungalow park where I’m active as manager, we have a large and a small pool. Since our resort has a high level of occupancy, the pools are frequently used. It is important to keep the pools clean and to perform maintenance, both of which are very labor intensive.

In case of peak attendance and high outdoor temperatures, the pools become polluted very quickly, meaning that the pumps need to work longer to filter the water. An increase amount of chlorine and other chemicals needs to be added to the water as well.

We felt the need for a more efficient filtering method. The traditional method with the sand filter simply turned out to provide insufficient results on a regular basis.

After we got in touch with the importer of the filter media product Aqualite^TM in June 2009, we decided to run a test with one pool.

The results were evident. It took less time to clean the water and the pump hours dropped during normal use. In addition, we needed less chemicals and chlorine on a structural basis, which has led to savings.

After this test, we chose to replace the sand in all filters Aqualite^TM early September. Due to this decision, we now consistently have a better water quality in our pools. The cleaning hours and the power, chlorine and water expenses have all dropped correspondingly.

Conclusion:
When I first took note of Aqualite^TMit sounded too good to be true. However, now that the results are in, Aqualite^TMhas proven to meet all expectations.
